Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 31, 2026
This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use BibleSwipe or visit bibleswipe.com.
Information We Collect
We may process pseudonymous analytics identifiers, onboarding responses, app interaction events, crash or diagnostic data, and support messages you send to us.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate BibleSwipe, run product experiments, understand onboarding performance, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.
Third-Party Services
We use service providers including PostHog for analytics, Superwall and Apple for subscriptions, OpenAI for verse chat, and cloud-hosting and support providers. They may process information as needed to provide their services.
PostHog may create a pseudonymous analytics profile tied to your app install and record screen interactions through session replay. Replay may include reading activity, verse selections, chat content, and other on-screen information.
Apple processes payments, so we do not receive your full payment details. Verse chat sends your question and selected verse information to OpenAI. Detailed Screen Time activity remains on your device. We do not sell your personal information.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary to operate and improve BibleSwipe, troubleshoot issues, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations. Deleting BibleSwipe removes locally stored app data.
You may request deletion of information associated with your use of BibleSwipe by contacting matty.hempstead@gmail.com.
